Stella McCartney For Le Sport Sac Bags
LeSportsac is a brand which was purchased by the Accessory Network Group in the last half of 2005. After this LeSportsac became huge and stores selling their bags and accessories were opened in twenty countries all over the globe, from America to Japan to Saudi Arabia. Autumn of 2008 brings with it a whole new collection of Le Sport Sac bags. Some of them are grab bags, some rucksacks and there are even some carry cases involved. One of our personal favourites from the spring collection was the adorable draw string totes which come in plain chocolate brown or with a ditsy blue, grey and red floral/star pattern. The new collection is a little less focused on the cutesy stuff and more on the essential day grab bag in all its nylon glory. The navy blues, khaki greens and neutral beiges all fit in very well with this season’s fashionable colours and we can certainly see how a neutral rucksack with the gold fastenings and chains would go so well with a deep purple thick jumper.
Some of the tote Le Sport Sac – Stella McCartney bags also feature her signature zip detail on the front, so she’s bringing some of her own collection into the Le Sport Sac range. Vivienne Westwood Hot Plaid Bags
The English fashion designer most known for bringing revolutionary and somewhat radical designs and trends has to be Vivienne Westwood. When she met Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren in the early seventies her career as a fashion designer rocketed and she became well known for her punk style clothing ranges.Today Vivienne Westwood handbags usually either reflect that anarchistic trend or classic sophistication (like the white Pier bag with diamond patches and gold hardware) but are slightly more subdued. There are even some quite cute looking handbags in her collection such as the ‘Bettina’ bag with teddy bear keychain and loosely knotted straps. One very close contender for the role of Vivienne’s most attractive bag is her tartan jasmine bag which is set to be huge this autumn and winter season. Still carrying on that tartan style pattern but with a huge range of colours, this bag is incredibly unique. It’s delicately and very precisely folded and sewn at the front to look almost like a tie, or a scarf thrown across someone’s shoulder. The pink leather top handles still manage to keep a sense of formality even when other colours within the material are pale blue, hot pink, yellow, pale green, purple, red and a green tinted navy. Of course, the bag features a tiny delicate Vivienne Westwood bag with silver logo at the top, which matches the silver zip.
There are a number of things that make this bag fabulous; the colours, the print, the shape and the style of the folds, and they’re all contributing factors into why it’s going to be so huge in the coming months. Prada Tessuto P Clutch
Autumn 2008 saw the release of the Prada Tessuto clutch in all its classic, delicate but slightly extravagant beauty. It’s a small clutch at just under 21cm wide and slightly over12cm high but it’s still guaranteed to attract a LOT of attention with gorgeous ruffled satin material. See more colours and pictures>>
Purple is the autumn 2008’s signature colour and Prada have fully taken that into account with this Prada clutch. The main colours that it’s available in are that feature metallic blue-purple that we all love, and jet black. The top zip fastening is delicately hidden away, while the Prada logo sits proudly at the top, in gold. It’s actually quite a large clutch at 35cm wide and 22.5cm high so it’s quite easy to grab a hold of and show off. There’s no denying that a purple Prada Tessuto clutch would look incredible with a black ruffle dress black tights and a pair of black brogue heels. Don’t worry though, any jewellery that you wear and the gold Prada logo will soften that outfit and draw more attention to your figure and the bag itself.
The Prada Tessuto clutch is certainly one of the most adorable bags to come out of the Prada line in a while, and much like the Prada bow wristlet clutch, it’s one that would provide a great accent for romantic curls and deep, sumptuous makeup. Gucci Large Joy Shoulder Bag
When the Gucci Jackie-O bag line left shortly after it’s arrival in 2002 we were sad to see it leave. Then a similar successor, the Gucci Bardot came out in 2005 but left in another hurry. We’ve been waiting a while for another of these beautiful, sophisticated styles to come back and luckily this autumn 2008 brings with it a brand new Gucci. It’s classed as both a shoulder bag and a large hobo so you can expect to get a lot of wear from it, as it’s likely to go with almost any outfit. They’re also known as Guccissima bags so try looking for both if you’re buying online as you might be able to find a lot of re colours. Also consider Gucci hysteria . So far we’ve seen it in grey with silver tone trim, ebony with brown trim, chocolate brown with matching trim and beige with gold trim. Yes, they’re all classic Gucci colours and you’ll also be pleased to hear that the bags carry the classic GG print on their exterior.
This Gucci large hobo has double drop straps, gold, silver or light gold hardware, a clip fastening, top zip and inside pocket so from the outside it’s pretty simple and the pattern is the main focus here. It’s available in small, medium or large but we’re fans of the large as it’s a hobo bag, and they’re supposed to be big after all! It’s a very light and large bag so it’s perfect for long days out when you’ll need extra space to put things in. Pink Radley Bags
Matching pink accessories aren’t something that all women want in their wardrobe, but when it’s done right, pink can look extremely classy and of course feminine. Radley themselves have some recommendations for what other accessories match their dusky pink set, and we love the way their umbrella (in an identical shade) is decorated with the same pale green leaf design as the leather leaf hanging from each bag’s top handles. What all the bags in this collection have in common is that they are all made from the same durable and silky soft Nappa leather, of course they all carry the signature dog shaped tag, they all have top handles (not drop ones) and they’re all rectangular.

Lindsay Lohan has proven herself to be the queen of hysteria as she sported one of these Gucci totes and it looked great with her shimmery silver dress and black opaque tights. Just bear in mind that even the small version is a rather large bag (38cm wide and just over 29cm tall) so it’s best for traveling, long days or café dates rather than a formal night out. If you spot the Gucci hysteria tote in the press anywhere it’s quite likely to be a patent black one (just like LL’s), although they are also available in matte purple leather, crocodile skin (usually black or yellow), ivory or silver-bronze. Each one looks as great as the next but we recommend the deep purple, black or ivory for this autumn so match the seasons’ signature colours. Prada Vitello Daino Tote

There are slight variations on the Prada Vitello Daino, such as the Vitello Daino cross body and the Vitello Daino weave tote, but our favourite is definitely the mini hobo in all its miniature slouchy glory. At just under 32cm in width it’s around the size of a Marc Jacobs Blake and as we all know, for a hobo that’s teeny tiny. What we love about this prada bag is that it might lose the feel of a classic, neutral, Hessian hobo but what it lacks in hippy it more than makes up for in classic Prada opulence.
It’s brought more up to date in metallic gold and silver. Alternatively it’s available in matte black for a classic Prada feel. Also consider Prada Gauffre tote. The designers haven’t skipped out on the Italian luxury exhibited by their best leather bags either.
